Overview: 

The Presidio of Monterey is a U.S. Army installation. It's primary military tenant organization is the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). The mission of DLIFLC is to provide foreign language education and training for Department of Defense personnel. DLIFLC has been recognized as one of America's top-rated schools for foreign language instruction. The support and sustainment for the facilities and grounds of The Presidio is the responsibility of U.S. Army Installation Management Command.
