OVERVIEW: Red River Army Depot is the U.S. Army's TACOM Life Cycle Management Command's "Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and Multiple Launch Rocket System." RRAD has the capability to remanufacture road wheel and tracked vehicle systems; it is the only DoD depot with this specialized capability. RRAD is also the Army's repair and servicing depot for Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. MRAP vehicles are designed to withstand improvised explosive devices (IED). The Joint Services’ MRAP University is located on-site at RRAD. MRAP University provides maintenance and instructor training for personnel who will be supporting MRAP vehicles. RRAD's Rubber Products Division manufactures and services various types of vehicle track shoes and road wheels such as the M1 road wheel. The Rubber Products Division possesses world-class, state-of-the-art re-build and manufacturing equipment and support tools for military vehicle tracked shoes and road wheels. |

Each year, there are hundreds of new government contracting opportunities for small businesses at Red River Army Depot.
