OVERVIEW:   Niagara Falls ARS is home to the 914th Airlift Wing (an Air Force Reserve Command unit) and the 107th Airlift Wing (a New York Air National Guard unit). Niagara Falls ARS has approximately 3,000 military, civil service, and defense contract personnel. The 914th and 107th Airlift Wings fly and maintain C-130 H2 aircraft.  These airlift wings are capable of providing tactical airlift, assault airland and combat airdrop of personnel and equipment. They also conduct aeromedical evacuation, humanitarian relief missions, intra-theater airlift, and formation personnel/equipment airdrops.  Another unit located at Niagara Falls ARS is a United States Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).  The MEPS determines the physical, mental and moral qualifications of new members of the armed services. MEPS provides a gateway through which applicants enter the armed services.
