OVERVIEW:   Naval Air Station (NASJAX) Jacksonville is the largest naval base in the Southeast. NASJAX is home to a number of naval and defense organizations.  NASJAX is home to several Patrol Squadrons flying P-3 Orion and P-8 Poseidon aircraft.   NAS Jacksonville is a major industrial base for naval activities in the southeaster U.S.  Some of these important industrial support activities include: Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center at Jacksonville, and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation.
