OVERVIEW:   Naval Air Station Lemoore hosts the U.S. Navy's entire west coast fighter/attack capability. The Strike Fighter Wing, headquartered at NAS Lemoore is tasked with ensuring strike fighter units assigned to it are fully combat-ready to conduct carrier-based operations for the U.S. Pacific Fleet.   NAS Lemoore is in the process of receiving new F-35 Stealth Fighter aircraft, support equipment, and personnel. With these new aircraft and personnel, NAS Lemoore will have nearly 60 percent of the U.S. Navy's strike fighters. NAS Lemoore supports five Carrier Air Wings.  Naval Organizations and Tenant Units at NAS Lemoore: Pacific Strike Fighter Wing - U.
