MCAS Yuma Marine Corps Organizations and Tenant Units  Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 (MAWTS-1)  Marine Aircraft Group 13  Marine Air Control Squadron 1  Combat Logistics Company 16  Marine Test and Evaluation Squadron 22 (VMX-22) Marine Fighter Training Squadron 401 (VMFT-401) - Marine Corps Reserve Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 1 (VMU-1) OVERVIEW:   MCAS Yuma is the Marine Corps' premier aviation training base. It is the home to a number of Marine Corps aviation units and the base supports the greatest number of annual flight sorties in the Marine Corps. MCAS Yuma supports 80 percent of the Corps' air-to-ground aviation training sorties. MCAS Yuma shares the runways and airfield facilities with Yuma International Airport. MCAS Yuma spans approximately 3,000 acres of land.   The MCAS Yuma based aircraft flown and maintained include: F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) AV-8 Harrier and AV-8B Harrier II F-5N Tiger II
