OVERVIEW:

Joint Base Lewis–McChord is home to a number of U.S. Army and Air Force organizations along with numerous other military units located in the Washington State area. The two largest military units at JBLM are I Corps (Army) and the 62nd Airlift Wing (Air Force). JBLM is under the direction of an Army joint base commander and an Air Force deputy joint base commander. JBLM has more than 45,000 military and civilian workers. The primary geographical areas of JBLM are: Lewis Main, Lewis North, McChord Field, and the Yakima Training Center.

            Each year, there are hundreds of new government contracting opportunities for small businesses at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The JBLM contracting offices award government contracts and oversee thousands of micro purchases annually for services, products, equipment, needed to support organizations and agencies at this joint military installation.
