Hanscom AFB is home to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's  Command, Control, Communications,
Intelligence, and Networks Directorate (AFLCMC/HN)
.  AFLCMC/HN is responsible for developing, acquiring, deploying, and sustaining cyberspace, communications, cryptologic, and space/nuclear networks. These systems must be interoperable across Air Force, DoD, joint service, inter-agency, and allied international military networks. The systems AFLCMC/HN develops and acquires are used in support of the air, space, and cyberspace domains. 

Located at Hanscom AFB are two major Air Force Program Executive Offices (PEOs): the PEO for Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N), and PEO Battle Management. 

Also located at Hanscom AFB is the 66th Air Base Group.  The 66th Air Base Group provides support and services to AFLCMC directorates, the Massachusetts National
Guard headquarters, on-site Department of Defense Federally Funded Research and Development Centers.

Hanscom AFB has over on-base 9,936 workers. The 66 Air Base Group supports nearly 200 on-base military units and federal organizations.  The 66th Air Base Group also provides support to more than 125,000 military personnel, annuitants, and their spouses living in the New England area.

Each year, Hanscom AFB has approximately $4.3 billion in base contract expenditures. Much of this is in support of AFLCMC/HN projects.
