Fort Wainwright is the most northern located United States Army installation. Fort Wainwright is home to United States Army's Arctic Warriors. This includes the United States Army Alaska (USARAK) along with several other Army organizations. USARAK provides trained and ready forces in support of worldwide unified land operations. USARAK specifically supports theater operations in the Pacific and Arctic regions.
