OVERVIEW:  

Fort McCoy is primarily a U.S. Army and joint military forces training base. It is home to the 86th Training Division and the 101st Infantry Brigade. Over 100,000 military personnel train at Fort McCoy in an average year. The 101st Infantry Brigade trains U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard units.   

There are many defense contracting opportunities for both prime contractors and small businesses at Fort McCoy. The base contracting office awards and administers millions of dollars in small business set-aside contracts to support training activities at Fort McCoy. In addition, there is a broad spectrum of contracting opportunities for small businesses who want to partner with large prime contractors on government contracts. This partnership can take the form of subcontracting or serving as a vendor / supplier.
