OVERVIEW:

Fort Hamilton provides military installation support for the Army National Guard and the United States Army Reserve in the New York City area. Fort Hamilton is under the joint command of the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and the Military District of Washington (MDW). Located at Fort Hamilton is the Joint Task Force Empire Shield (JTF-ES). JTF-ES' primary goal is to detect, deter, and prevent potential terrorist operations in the New York City Metropolitan Area. 

Fort Hamilton is also home to the New York Military Entrance Processing Station, the New York City Recruiting Battalion, and the Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division. Fort Hamilton provides on-base housing for military families and essential services for over 50,000 active, reserve, and retired military personnel (and families) in the New York City area.

    Small Business Opportunities and Set-Aside Contracts at Fort Hamilton: 
    There are numerous business opportunities at Fort Hamilton with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the New York National Guard and other DoD on-site units.
