OVERVIEW:

Fort Devens is a U.S. Army Reserve installation.  It operates under Army Installation Management Command's (IMCOM) Northeast Region.  The Army units at Fort Devens conduct operational missions, logistics support, and specialized training for both Army reserve and active duty personnel.  Fort Devens supports over 130,000 military personnel (active and reserve), military retirees living in the region, and military family members.

The Fort Devens complex has approximately 4,800 acres.  The training facilities at Fort Devens include: 25 firing ranges, 24 specialized training facilities, 26 company-sized training areas, 13 academic classrooms, 3 Distributive Learning Center classrooms, and a large conference facility.
