Small Business and Subcontracting Opportunities at Fort Carson:
 
Each year, there are hundreds of defense contracting opportunities for small businesses at Fort Carson. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Carson and the 918th Contingency Contracting Battalion provides contracting support for the military units at Fort Carson, the Pueblo Chemical Depot, and the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site.  

When there is a procurement for less than $150,000, the contracting office at Fort Carson sets it aside for small business, (if there are at least two businesses that can compete for the contract). In recent years, over $40 million in contracts were awarded to small businesses. There are also hundreds of opportunities for small businesses who are able to partner with prime defense contractors as subcontractors or as suppliers.
