OVERVIEW: Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored Division and numerous other U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) units and U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) units. Other important military units at Fort Bliss include Joint Task Force North and the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Fort Bliss Contracting
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Bliss provides on-post Army commands, units, and leadership with contracting support and contract administration oversight. The MICC is the primary purchasing activity supporting Fort Bliss. However, the Southern Regional Contracting Office for the U.S. Army Medical Command supports the requirements for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
