OVERVIEW:

Fort Moore is the U.S. Army's "Maneuver Center of Excellence."  Fort Moore is a large military complex with a total of 182,464 acres.

Stationed at Fort Moore are approximately 12,877 permanent military personnel, 33,818 military family members, and nearly 17,000 military trainees.  There are also about 6,600 federal civilian personnel supporting the operations and training programs at Fort Moore.  The annual training volume at Fort Moore is approximately 65,465 soldiers.   

There are enormous contracting opportunities for small businesses at Fort Moore. There are millions of dollars in small business set-aside contracts annually and numerous opportunities to partner with large prime contractors as vendors and subcontractors.

Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning) is located in central
west Georgia, near Columbus.

Fort Moore - Military Construction (MILCON) 
There has been $3.5 billion in military construction at Fort Moore.  Fort Moore MILCON includes refurbishment and modernization of facilities.  For example: there has been 4,000 new and refurbished housing units, an addition of 6 Million square feet of on-post facilities, a new 750,000 square foot hospital, and a new 860 room on-post lodge.

Fort Moore Contracting 
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Moore provides on-post Army commands, units, and leadership with contracting support and contract administration oversight.  MICC is responsible for acquiring equipment, supplies and services needed to support Fort Moore's operations and training programs.
