OVERVIEW: 

The 90th Missile Wing is the host unit for F.E. Warren AFB.  The 90th Missile Wing provides base support services, such as civil engineering, supply/logistics, housing and billeting, medical, personnel, and other support functions. The 90th Missile Wing has over 3,361 military personnel and 964 civilian employees. 

The 90th Missile Wing maintains and operates the Minuteman III nuclear Intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM). The 90th Missile Wing is one of three operational intercontinental ballistic missile units. The 90th Missile Wing is responsible for 150 Minuteman III ICBMs, 15 missile alert facilities, and 150 remote launch facilities.

Also located at F.E. Warren AFB is Headquarters, 20th Air Force. 20th Air Force is responsible for maintaining and operating the Air Force's ICBM force. 20th Air Force supports both Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).
