Small Business and Subcontracting Opportunities at Dugway Proving Ground:
Since Dugway Proving Ground is an organization with the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), much of its contracting support comes from this parent command as well as from the Army Contracting Command (ACC). The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Dugway Proving Ground provides on-site contracting support.
Each year, there are numerous defense contracting opportunities for small businesses with ATEC and at Dugway Proving Ground. When there is a procurement for less than $150,000, the MICC sets it aside for small business (if there are at least two businesses that can compete for the contract). In recent years, ACC and ATEC have awarded a significant percentage of its contracts to small businesses. There are also hundreds of opportunities for small businesses who are able to partner with prime defense contractors as subcontractors or as suppliers.
